I've had the LEGO Roller Coaster built for a couple of years, and while it's always been cool, it felt like it was missing something. Turns out, this light kit was it.

Gotta be honest, I was putting off installing this because I was picturing a nightmare of tiny wires and having to take half the coaster apart. It really wasn't that bad! The guide has pictures for every step. You basically just lift up a brick here and there, tuck the wire under, and pop the brick back on. The wires are crazy thin so you can't even tell they're there once it's done. Okay, there was one tricky part around the lift chain where I had to be extra careful, but I just took my time and it worked out.

But man, when you plug it in for the first time... it's just incredible. The big sign glowing, the warm lights on the station platform, the string of lights going up the main hill – it totally looks like a real amusement park at night now. My kids absolutely lost their minds when they saw it all lit up.

If you have the Roller Coaster, you pretty much need to get this. It's not just some lights; it changes the entire feel of the model. It went from being a cool set on a shelf to the absolute centerpiece of the room. Easy 5 stars from me. Don't even hesitate.

The Roller Coaster literally comes to life with the addition of the light kit. The LEGO looks amazing! I’m glad I started investing in light kits!
