Just finished installing the lights and love them they went in very easily considering the complexity in dismantling then rebuilding highly recommend the Sound set it’s amazing
cant reccommend this light kit enough,it was my first light kit for one of my sets so wasnt too sure how good this was going to be and too be frank....exceeded my expectations,so much so i went straight back on the site and got another kit for my mclaren.
my only issue is which one to buy next.
This was the first time i had fitted a lighting kit to a Lego model but seeing the images on the Game of Bricks website, I just had to give it a go.
The set took about 2 weeks to reach me in the Netherlands. It was well-packaged and arrived in good shape. Fitting into the lighthouse took care and patience. Occasionally I felt the need to take a break especially when trying to fit the tiny plugs into the distribution boards. I had concerns - which proved groundless - that replacing a Lego brick over a wire might damage it. But this was never an issue.
It probably took me an afternoon to fit all the lights and connect them up. Switching them on was spectacular and transformed a fun model into a very cool-looking lighthouse. I used the Remote version so could turn various lights on and off. My grandkids just love that feature!
I can recommend the set highly. The quality of the lights is very good and they make an enormous difference to the model. I was so delighted with the end result the I ordered light sets for two other Lego models sitting on my shelf......
